TEORI PERILAKU TERENCANA SEBAGAI PREDIKTOR MINAT PENGGUNAAN MISWAK (SALVADORA PERSICA) DAN PRODUK BERBASIS SIWAK

Abstract


Siwak merupakan alat pembersih gigi tradisional yang memiliki manfaat kesehatan sekaligus nilai religius bagi umat Islam. Dewasa kini, siwak kerap dipadukan dengan berbagai produk kesehatan gigi dan mulut.  Meskipun demikian, tingkat penggunaan siwak di masyarakat masih relatif rendah sehingga diperlukan pemahaman mengenai faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi minat penggunaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh sikap, norma subjektif, dan persepsi kontrol perilaku terhadap minat penggunaan siwak berdasarkan Theory of Planned Behavior. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain potong lintang. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner daring yang disebarkan melalui WhatsApp kepada sivitas akademika STIKes Colombia Asia Medan beserta keluarga dan kerabatnya. Sebanyak 73 responden dianalisis menggunakan Covariance-Based Structural Equation Modeling (CB-SEM) pada SmartPLS 4. Persepsi kontrol perilaku berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap minat penggunaan siwak (β=0,429; p=0,033), sedangkan norma subjektif (β=0,286; p=0,101) dan sikap (β=0,235; p=0,109) tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Model mampu menjelaskan 32,9% variasi minat penggunaan siwak (R²=0,329). Minat penggunaan siwak lebih dipengaruhi oleh persepsi kemudahan dan kemampuan penggunaan dibandingkan faktor sosial maupun sikap individu.
