Abstract


Deteksi dini maloklusi bertujuan mengenali gangguan perkembangan yang membutuhkan observasi, pengendalian faktor etiologis, atau rujukan pada waktu yang tepat. Pengetahuan orang tua mengenai konsultasi ortodonti dini dan space maintainer masih bervariasi. Artikel ini mengembangkan model skrining dan rujukan dini berbasis keluarga berdasarkan jurnal 2021–2026. Bukti mencakup instrumen Index for Interceptive Orthodontics Referral, konsensus terapi ortodonti anak, dan studi kesadaran orang tua. Model ORTHO-FAM yang diusulkan terdiri atas skrining perkembangan dentisi, faktor fungsi-kebiasaan, red flags, literasi orang tua, dan jalur rujukan tiga tingkat: observasi, rujukan terjadwal, dan rujukan dipercepat. Model tidak menggantikan diagnosis ortodonti lengkap dan perlu validasi lokal terhadap pemeriksaan spesialis.
