HUBUNGAN ANTARA JUMLAH PARITAS DENGAN PENGETAHUAN, SIKAP, DAN TINDAKAN IBU HAMIL TENTANG IMUNISASI PADA BAYI DI RSUD DR. PIRNGADI MEDAN
Abstract
Immunizations are required by government to all infants (age 0-11 months) is to prevent tuberculosis BCG, DPT Diphteri to prevent disease, pertussis and tetanus, measles immunization to prevent measles, polio immunization to prevent polio, plus Hepatitis B for prevent hepatitis B (liver disease). The purpose of this study to determine the relationship between the number of parity with the knowledge, attitudes, and actions of expectant mothers about immunizations in infants at Hospital Dr. Pirngadi Medan. This type of research is a survey that is analytic. The population in this study were all pregnant women who do birth control clinic in Pregnant Women Hospital Dr. Pirngadi Medan. Sampling was performed using total sampling technique that is the whole of the population contained within the research done by 55 respondents. Data obtained from the respondents filled in questionnaires. The results showed that the knowledge, attitudes, and actions are relatively poor at parity one, which was followed by the category of being at parity two, and good the parity three categories. From the results of Pearson correlation test and simple linear regression obtained by the relationship between the dependent variable with independent variables, that is knowledge (r = 0.657), attitude (r = 0.604), and action (r = 0.809). The results obtained by statistical analysis of the relationship between the number of parity with the knowledge, attitudes and actions of expectant mothers regarding immunization in infants. Expected to further enhance the understanding of health professionals and dissemination of information on immunizations in infants through counseling-counseling.
