Pengetahuan Infeksi Human Papilomavirus dan Skrining Kanker Serviks Pada Perempuan Usia Produktif
Abstract
Kanker serviks menjadi masalah kesehatan reproduksi pada perempuan dan kasus paling umum di seluruh dunia pada perempuan. Pertumbuhan sel prakanker dipicu oleh infeksi Human Papillomavirus (HPV) dikaitkan dengan perkembangan kanker serviks. Pengetahuan perempuan tentang infeksi HPV dan skrining kanker serviks perlu diterapkan untuk mengatasi keterlambatan diagnosis. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisa pengetahuan infeksi HPV dan skrining kanker serviks pada perempuan usia produktif. Penelitian cross-sectional yang dilakukan terhadap 186 responden di wilayah Puskesmas Piyungan Bantul. Analisis univariat untuk memberikan informasi deskriptif dari setiap variabel penelitian. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner pengetahuan infeksi HPV yang terdiri dari 5 item pertanyaan dengan nilai skor total 0-5. Kuesioner pengetahuan tentang skrining kanker serviks terdiri dari 14 item pertanyaan dengan nilai skor maksimal 0-14. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengetahuan perempuan usia produktif mengenai infeksi HPV terbanyak pada kategori pengetahuan kurang yaitu 115 responden (61,83%). Sedangkan pengetahuan perempuan usia produktif mengenai skrining kanker serviks terbanyak pada kategori pengetahuan yang rendah sejumlah 107 responden (57,53%). Disimpulkan bahwa perempuan usia produktif memiliki pengetahuan kurang tentang skrining kanker serviks dan pengetahuan kurang tentang infeksi HPV dengan p-value 0,029 sehingga dikatakan bermakna. Pendekatan upaya promotif dan preventif menjadi penting untuk pengendalian infeksi HPV dan keberhasilan skrining.
